In Memory of My Sister
Karen McGarvey
July 14, 1949 - November 11, 2008
I'd like to thank everyone for the
outpouring of sympathy for the loss
of my sister, Karen.
Although she'd been diagnosed a few
weeks ago with a terminal illness, we thought she still had several
months. Her death came as a
shock to all of us. Your
concern and affection has been
greatly appreciated. I hope to
be back to being Katt soon and look
forward to more good times here at
Buster's. Thanks a million!

Phew!
It's been a busy week here at
Buster's. We'd like to thank
the Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition
and the Greensburg High School
Faculty and their families for
choosing Buster's to host their
functions! It was our pleasure
to serve you!
We smoked
a couple of beef briskets to see
what it would be like and the
response has been so overwhelming
that I'm adding brisket dinners and
sandwiches to the regular menu.
For our Dinner and a Movie, we'll be
showing Fantastic 4: Rise of the
Silver Surfer, (rated
PG13) on
that 12 ft projected screen!

Hey
everybody, I'm really looking
forward to this weekend!
Friday, the 12th, is my birthday and
I managed to schedule in one of my
favorite bands, SUNSET LIMITED for
Saturday night to help me celebrate
it!

The Chiefs game was awesome on that
big of screen. So movies are
now rolling! Come check it

We're
serving in the dining room only at
the moment while the bar gets a
small 'face lift'. It's taking
a few days longer than anticipated
but should be done this coming week.

Ok, so my
request for Sunday beer in Sun City
was met with less than enthusiasm by
the town council and it was vetoed.
I tried!!
Look for
calendars near the register that
list the lunch specials and
entertainment for the coming month!
I hope
harvest has gone well for all!

Woohooo!
The Sun City Town Council unanimously
approved my request this evening
to allow us to expand the beer
garden! The plan is to expand
it and put in horseshoe pits and a
volleyball net! We're gearing
up for some summer fun and possibly
some friendly competition! |

attended our Grand Opening and made

Saloon was purchased by Katt
Kerns and her family.
They've been working hard to
improve the facility as well
as the overall experience
