According to our Coors Distributor, Buster's
was the very first tavern to have
beer on tap in Kansas! We are
proud to continue the tradition of
serving ice cold draft beer in
fishbowls, just like Buster Hathaway did
for decades.
Located in South Central Kansas, in the oldest town in the county, Buster's Saloon offers
a homemade menu in a unique atmosphere that offers a peek at the wonders of the Red Hills as well as the history of Sun City,
Kansas.
Hope to see
you soon!

WHAT
THE HECK IS HAPPENING AT
BUSTER'S
SALOON? by Katt Kerns
What a GIFT!
Joe Bonson and his wife, Wendy,
visited Buster's quite some time
ago. The Bonson family calls
Pennsylvania home and they are part
of the band, Joe Bonson & Coffee
Run. We jammed a bit, shot the
breeze about Sun City and other
things, and in general just had a
good time. Recently, Joe dropped a CD off for me
and said I was to listen to Track 5
on the CD. It turned out that
'Track 5' was a song written by
Wendy, called Ghost Town Girl.
It's easy to recognize Buster's and
Sun City in the song, in spite of
Wendy having to change the name of
the town to Sunrise
in the song. But you guessed
it, that's what's playing on the
page here. The album is Ride
In The Country and it's full of old
time honky tonk country originals by
Joe Bonson & Coffee Run. I
can't recommend the album highly
enough. If you're interested
in purchasing a copy, visit
www.joebonson.com and enjoy!

Dear
Buster's team, we were rambling through the
country after leaving the site of the
Greensburg devastation so we thought we would
cut across the pretty countryside that led us
to Sun City on Friday June 22, 2007.
My husband ordered a cold large
fishbowl and myself a medium, and
after having a nice visit with the owner, we
chose to order a hamburger! This was
the most delicious experience! It has
been a very loooong time since we actually
could taste the taste of delicious beef in
the hamburger, and they were cooked so
perfect. We truly enjoyed our stop at
Buster's. Actually we have visited
Buster's several times in the past. I
love the feeling of driving into this little
hidden village down in the valley at the foot
of the beautiful hills. I always have
to take a picture of the scenery as we drive
east out of Sun City. I really feel you
are fortunate to have chosen Buster's over the
Truck Stop in Oklahoma. We wish for you
a profitable business venture as the word
spreads about the delicious beef you serve.
Thanks for this experience,
Joe and Barbara, Anthony, Kansas
